Welcome to Victoria Jane Ceramics

From my studio in Wigan, Northwest UK, I create functional and decorative ceramic pieces, all inspired by beautiful flora and fauna, British wildlife, nostalgia and tradition. My work ranges from slip cast mugs featuring my pencil drawings as ceramic decals to wheel-thrown mugs and bowls.... each one totally unique. I am predominantly a hand-builder and love nothing more than creating individual one-offs where I use the clay surface as a ‘canvas’ for fauna impressions or sprig relief. My functional work always features a detail focus to soften the surface and bring the outside inside.
